The Indian land is turning out to be a success story for Italian super sports carmaker Lamborghini.
The super-luxury sports car segment in India is estimated to have accounted for the sale of nearly 70 cars last year of which Lamborghini has 40% share.
One fifth of its sales were from smaller towns and cities.
Lamborghini has realized that it is inherent, and growing, aspiration in tier-2 and tier-3 towns and cities for luxury brandsand it has been taking initiatives to reach out to the buyers to make them aware of the brand, the cars and performance.
