T series, India’s largest music company and film production company owned by Super Cassettes Industries Private Limited (SCIL)has seen new heights after Bhushan Kumar the son of Late Shri GulshanKumar and brother Krishan Kumar took over T series after the death of Gulshan Kumar.
T Series was initially founded by Gulshan Kumar as a small company in 1983 that used to sell pirated Bollywood songs. It became a hit when they released many of the bestselling Bollywood tracks.
Their channel mainly showing music videos and film trailers are one of the most widely searched and viewed channels on Youtube.
It also has almost 26 other online properties such as T-Series Tamil, T-Series Telugu and Bollywood Classics and many more.
Over the years Bhushan Kumar expanded the company’s business and started electronics, CDs, audio/video tapes and cassettes and film production.
The Channel had acquired soundtracks of most of the super hit movies such as Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Jab We Met, Don etc.
Also, T series entered into film production in 2001 with Tum Bin and sequel of Aashiqui i.e. Aashiqui 2 turned out to be a hit and it was a turning point for them.
Later on this production house gave us many super hit films such as Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety, baby, Airlift, Sarabjit, Hindi Medium, Raid and many more hits are still lined up for the year 2018.
They have always been on toes for digital promotion and making digital presence not only of T series but also of their songs and movies.
They joined Youtube in 2006 but became active from 2010 with 59 million subscribers till 15th September 2018. Since then T series is the second highest subscribed channel on youtube today and all set to knock PewDiePie and become the number onechannel on YouTube.
T Series was also felicitated for achieving this milestone in
Over 35 year they have evolved and become an entertainment package, also a top entertainment channel in India. They have achieved many milestones on the journey to be the best in the country.
