‘Project Thali’, a fight to abolish hunger by Dineout in the lockdown.

Dineout launches a community-driven initiative ‘PROJECT THALI’ that aims to abolish hunger amongst the poorest and most vulnerable communities of India like the malnourished individuals with compromised immunity including the urban poor, inhabitants of remote areas, migrants, the informally employed, people in conflict areas and other vulnerable groups which are the most affected of this Lockdown.

Ankit Mehrotra, the co-founder, and C.E.O of the company states that he wishes to ensure that food reaches those who need it the most. The company even states that they’ve had seen some initial success on the project in the past two weeks by serving food to 100000+ people in collaboration with over 1300 volunteers and invites one and all to be a part of their mission to ensure no one sleeps hungry.
