PVR Cinemas joined its hands with HP India to launch Asia’s first HP Virtual Reality (VR) Lounge at PVR ECX, Mall of India, Noida & becoming India’s first multiplex to bring in a never-before experience for its users.
10 such virtual reality lounges across PVRs will be rolled out in India.
PVR ECX has four VR pods, powered by HP Omen desktops or laptops with HTC Vive headsets providing the VR experience.
Movie goers can play around eight games (Fruit Ninja, Space Pirate Trainer, The Visitor, etc) as well as interface with interactive content fromDisney, such as The BFG experience, The Jungle Book for instance ranging from 1.5 to 10 minutes.
Patrons can also immerse themselves in settings like watching a blue whale pass by while one stands on a wrecked ship.
Anyone who has purchased movie tickets at PVR ECX can avail the facilities of the VR Lounge.
