Electronics next on Aditya Birla’s Fashion & Retail store ‘The Collective’ cart

  • The Collective, India’s largest luxury multibrand retailer, has plans to diversify into high-end electronics.
  • It retails over 100 brands, including Versace, Armani, & Alexander McQueen, through its eight shops in different cities & e-commerce.
  • It plans to board more brands like Paul Smith, UK-based brand Farah, Kate Spade Jewellery & launch mono-brand stores of some of its brands like Ted Baker.
  • Brands like Ted Baker, Fred Perry & Hackett are leading the growth for The Collective.
  • The retailer aims to strengthen the fashion jewellery segment due to a gap in this segment & is also in talks with popular international jewellery brands.
  • Reliance Brand which retails luxury brands like Ermenegildo Zegna, Bally & Brooks Brothers in India, have plans to occupy the The Collective’s shelf.
  • The company will launch new stores in Hyderabad and Chennai this year.
