Coca-Cola India to reduce focus on fizzy drinks

  • Coca-Cola India is aligning itself to changing consumer preferences, by widening its portfolio of low-sugar drinks, since consumers are opting for healthier beverages.
  • With this move, Coca-Cola plans to be a consumer centric beverage company by satisfying consumer’s beverage needs, based on their preferences and not on what they want to sell.
  • Around 65% of Coca-Cola India’s sales today are generated from fizzy drinks, & the rest from still beverages like Maaza, Minute Maid, etc.
