Nine months after Scoot & Tigerair announced their intention to pursue a single brand, Tigerair flights will now operate under Scoot Airlines, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines & mark the completion of the integration of the two brands into one.
To celebrate the merger, Scoot will offer special fares from Hyderabad to Singapore & other destinations.
Scoot to take up new destinations under its umbrella that were running under Tigerair which includes Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, Tiruchirapalli & Lucknow which will now operate under single brand name Scoot Airlines from July 25.
Scoot (after a merger) now operates 50 flights weekly out of eight destinations between India & Singapore.
The airline which successfully commenced its operations in India last year is in talks with the Rajasthan government for a possible tie to promote the western Indian state as a tourist destination.
