  • Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved Ltd. has been spreading its hands everywhere from wrestling league, bhajan shows on televisions to talk-shows on radios.
  • The company’s main focus for sponsoring on these channels is on the young people in urban areas where the company has not achieved considerable success.
  • The sponsorship is restricted to two things, first being sponsoring only Indian sports and events build on Indian culture and second, Baba Ramdev himself will participate in the events being sponsored.
  • This unique and different advertising technique created a buzz among the target audience.
  • The survey reports that about 45% came to know about Patanjali through advertisements and about 51% got awareness through word of mouth.
