Nykaa has leveraged the power of e-commerce in a sunrise industry like beauty. This has made Nykaa a formidable beauty player in India. Nykaa has launched an e-commerce platform exclusively for men called Nykaa Man. Nykaa’s move comes after one year after other players in the fashion e-commerce space have also extended operations in the men’s wear range including Voonik and Limeroad.
Nykaa Man as it looks to get a sizeable play into the $1.4 billion men’s grooming market in India.
Nykaa Man will offer products across categories like shaving, haircare, grooming kits, bath and body, beard care, sexual wellness and sports nutrition with over 200 brands including the Shave Doctor, Kielh’s and Beardo.
Men’s grooming section contributes 2% of the revenue of the firm. Nykaa expects the portal to grow by 10% in a couple of years.
Men’s line of product will also garner significanct shelf space in the offline stores across the country.
Men’s grooming is mainly comprised of shaving and bathing. But that is not the end of men’s grooming process there is much more than that which includes nutrition, health, hair care and also beard care.
