Myntra plans to explore brick-and-mortar stores

Myntra the Indian fashion e-commerce marketplace company founded in 2007 is the country’s largest online fast-fashion retailer and is planning to enter beauty market with a chain of brick-and-mortar stores.
  • Including brands like MAC, Clinique, and Bobbi Brown Myntra is already selling more than 100 brands online.
  • Now Myntra is looking to sell these beauty products through a chain of multi-brand physical stores.
  • Myntra is already having master-franchisee for Mango offline stores in India. And with this brick-and-mortar foray, it is going to compete with local as well as international chains.
There are many stores which already operates such type of outlets like Sephora which currently runs 17 stores in India and Dabur which having 85 beauty outlets called NewU across India.
