Indian Ayurveda and Herbal products market are growing at a faster speed than ever before. The credit goes to brand Patanjali which has spread the Ayurveda revolution throughout the country.
Recently, Hindustan Unilever (HUL), a leading FMCG player in the country started advertising around its Ayurveda portfolio- Ayush taking a dig at the other players in this category.
Brands which own an Ayurveda based products portfolio are now gearing up to reach out to the consumers.
They are reinforcing their advertising budgets and strengthening their distribution systems.
Previously brands such as Vicco, Baidyanath, Medimix, and Hamam used to promote their natural products but not on a large scale. However, Patanjali went for massive advertising and took a dig at other FMCG players.
The industry is slated for another advertising war just like what happened in cola, telecom, e-commerce or auto.
It will be interesting to see how the brands take this fight forward in coming days.
