Social media platforms are affecting viewer’s reading habits in India.
Indians now spend less than half the time reading newspapers as per the study.
But print media still remains at the top as common households are loyal towards purchasing newspapers.
This study included 235 respondents from urban cities who accepted that they now rarely follow the morning routine of reading newspaper over a cup of tea.
The information would be consumed from the Internet instead of newspapers.
Majority of the newspapers have gone digital due to the changing dynamics of readers all around the country.
