Idea Cellular to launch a new phone for Rs. 2,500

To counter Reliance Jio, Jio Phone, India’s third largest telecom operator Idea Cellular is also planning to launch a new phone in the market. The phone will be priced starting at Rs.2,500.
  • Idea mobile network operator is working with handset makers and has joined hands with rival company Vodafone to launch cheapest ever smart phone sets in the market.
  • This new handset will give all the choices to a customer, including choosing the operator of his/her choice, popular applications like Google, Facebook or Whatsapp.
  • With this latest affordable smartphone, customers may avail Dual SIM, 2G and 4G networks simultaneously and several other exciting offers. They can even use any network and application of their own choice without any restrictions.
Both the handset manufacturers and telecom operators need each other to make sure that the offering to the consumer is strong enough when you have to make a choice between a bundled offer and a telecom operator with a locked handset.
