  • An advertising agency is generally an independent business organization specialized in advertising works which undertake the work of planning, preparing and executing advertising campaign which is generally in the form to produce television commercials, radio commercials, online advertising, out-of-home advertising& mobile marketing for its clients.
  • They are known as agencies because they are acting as agents for their principals which were the media. They were then, and are now, paid by the media to sell advertising space to clients. 
  • Many businesses turn to advertising agencies for their expertise and specialized knowledge.It helps them in saving time and money.
  • It helps in providing an outside point of view to the effort of selling the client’s products or services, or an outside firm.
  • Agency can also handle overall marketing and branding strategies and sales promotions for its clients.
  • Advertisement agencies help in brand development by developing logos and advertising that will develop brand awareness.
  • Agencies believe that there is only one rule for advertising to be effective “it has to be creative”.People don’t buy products, they buy benefits. Mere product benefits can be the same across multiple products, so then how does a consumer chose one product over the other? In a marketplace increasingly full of parity products, consumers buy into the advertising.
